Tower Climbing Class Schedule
Vertical Safety Solutions offers a variety of tower climbing safety and rescue courses, Classes are scheduled 1 time a month. If the training schedule does not meet your available dates or need for training feel free to contact us and we can look at other date options to fit your schedule.
Course curriculum are designed to exceed the standards, regulations, and recommendations required of the tower industry who must provide fall protection and rescue training to tower climbers, regardless of their task on the tower. All courses consist of interactive classroom sessions, hands on exercises, and real time on a tower to enhance the learning process. Certification courses are developed to promote safety while climbing and exceed OSHA, ANSI, and NATE Climber Training Standards.

Competent Climber/Rescue Refresher VSS313R

This 1 day Evaluation and Certification course is designed for those who have previously been certified in Advanced Competent Climb & Rescue.
This course provides refresher training in advanced competent climber safety & rescue and covers the latest changes and or updates to OSHA/MIOSHA 1926, 1910, ANSI Z490, Z359, and the NATE CTS.
This is an 8-10 hour student led course with class time covering review of regulations & standards for working at heights, fall protection use, inspection, PFAS components, hazard assessment, rescue planning and implementation.
Successful completion is dependent upon passing written quizzes and effectively planning and executing a rescue on a real tower.
Students MUST have previously been certified in Advance competent climber rescuer by Vertical Safety Solutions and or another reputable training source. Vertical Safety Solutions accepts most all major name training certs to meet the pre requisite. (Online training courses are NOT accepted) Copies of certifications from sources other than Vertical Safety Solutions MUST be attached to class registration. Students must provide their own harness, connectors and rescue kit that meets ANSI z359 standards and will pass an inspection.
Class size is limited to 4 students
Prerequisite: Competent climber/rescuer (Current certificate must accompany registration)
